Welcome to the home of the Annual City Prayer Breakfast.

The City Prayer Breakfast has for many years provided an annual focus for Christians who work in, or who have a heart for, the City of London to meet together and pray.

The City Prayer Breakfast gives an annual focus for Christians and friends of those who live or work in, or are concerned with, the City of London.

The 2020 City Prayer Breakfast will take place on Wednesday 14 October 2020. You can register by clicking here.

This year the annual prayer breakfast will take place online giving workplace and church groups the opportunity to gather to pray together across the City in person or virtually.

The theme this year is “Love Your Neighbour” and the principal contributor will be Dr. David Randall, a doctor who served on the frontline during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The bible reading will be given by Alderman William Russell, Lord Mayor of London. Prayers will be led by Simon Abrams of E & Y and Simon Edwards of the Zacharias Trust, organiser of the “Re-Think Jesus” programme taking place in London in November 2020. Others who live and work in the City of London will join them in the Lord’s Prayer.

People from across London and from all walks of life are invited to come together to seek God in prayer for the flourishing of our city.

“Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you…. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (Jer. 29:7)
