The City Prayer Breakfast has for many years provided an annual focus for Christians who work in, or who have a heart for, the City of London to meet together and pray.

Welcome to the home of the Annual City Prayer Breakfast.

The City Prayer Breakfast gives an annual focus for Christians and friends of those who live or work in, or are concerned with, the City of London.

People from across London and from all walks of life are invited to come together to seek God in prayer for the flourishing of our city.

“Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you…. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (Jer. 29:7)

The City Prayer Breakfast is organised by a steering committee comprising a diverse group of city leaders who are committed to seeing a healthy and sustainable city through the encouragement of prayer.

All are most welcome at the breakfast, from the most senior to the most junior. We are excited to announce that the next City Prayer Breakfast will take place on Wednesday 14 October 2020. This year will be online giving workplace and church groups an opportunity to gather to pray together across the City in person or virtually. More details to follow but save the date now!

The theme for the 2020 City Prayer Breakfast is Love your Neighbour. Speakers will include Dr. David Randall. David is a doctor specialising in renal medicine. During the coronavirus epidemic he worked in a frontline role in hospitals across the Barts Health NHS Trust.
