Theme for 2020

The theme for the 2020 Annual City Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday 14 October 2020 was “Love Your Neighbour” and the principal contributor was Dr. David Randall, a doctor who served on the frontline during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The bible reading was given by Alderman William Russell, Lord Mayor of London. Prayers were led by Simon Abrams of E & Y and Meryl Ching of Bupa. Others who live and work in the City of London joined them in the Lord’s Prayer.

People from across London and from all walks of life are invited to continue to seek God in prayer for the flourishing of our city. The Annual City Prayer Breakfast will return in October 2021 and further details will be published in due course. You can sign up to register to receive updates below.

“Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you…. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (Jer. 29:7)

The City Prayer Breakfast has for many years provided an annual focus for Christians who work in, or who have a heart for, the City of London to meet together and pray.
