The City Prayer Breakfast has for many years provided an annual focus for Christians who work in, or who have a heart for, the City of London to meet together and pray.

Welcome to the home of the Annual City Prayer Breakfast.

The City Prayer Breakfast gives an annual focus for Christians who live or work in, or are concerned with, the City of London.

This encompasses all who work in financial and service industries, including in the London Docklands, commonly called “The City”. Christians from across London and from all walks of life are invited to come together to seek God in prayer for the flourishing of our city.

“Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you…. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (Jer. 29:7)

The City Prayer Breakfast is organised by a steering committee comprising a diverse group of city leaders who are committed to seeing a healthy and sustainable city through the encouragement of prayer.

All are most welcome at the breakfast, from the most senior to the most junior.

The 2019 City Prayer Breakfast marks 50 years of city prayers. We are celebrating our Golden Jubilee in style. Come, join our festivities and hear the annual address given by High Court Judge Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb DBE.
